My parents were stationed in Fairban.. where I was born, on army base of Fort Wainwright they were there for a couple of years and decided to retire in Alaska around 2004 and decided to move here to Anchorage.
When I went out to Oklahoma just before we had the pandemic, I was doing like a renegade site.
And people just kept asking me if I if I made music.
And I just kept saying, No, I'm just a DJ, And throughout the night, I was like, maybe, I should start learning when I was getting older throughout middle school, I started getting more into EDM, like Daft Punk, Dead Mouse, Zomboy EDM is a genre that’s mainly made electronically, like on a computer or with a synth and keyboards.
Subgenres could be like house dubstep, drum and bass There's so many.
EDM scene Anchorage.
has been really centered around like house parties and like a DJ’s just like, hey, I have a controller, I have some music I'll play for you guys.
It's definitely, stemmed from like the really DIY kind of style.
I'm hoping one day we can have, lik.. an all EDM Club Sacred Acre is a new festiva.. electronic music, all EDM.
I’m pretty nervous, it’s like my first time playing like a couple of my own tracks tonight I’ve been known as a dubstep, deep dub kind of DJ I mean, it's, in my opinion, one of the more versatile kind of genres.
We definitely like, thrive on like the PLUR lifestyle of peace, love, unity and respect.
Our EDM scene is very small.
