A world of curiosities and surprises, where, every day, creatures big and small bite off more than they can chew.
(pea-rexes growling) Join us as we follow the adventures of Ginger, a young tricarrotops, and her unlikely little friends, three baby pea-rexes, Wasabi, Split, and Minty, as they discover the many wonders that exist in this vast valley!
- Woohoo!
This is Ginger and the "Vegesaurs"!
(gentle music) (Bananaraptors snoring) The baby Pea-Rexes are on an expedition to catch dinner.
Pea-Rexes prefer to hunt in pods of their own kind, but on this occasion... - Whoa!
- [All] Shh!
(Bananaraptors snoring) (Pea-Rexes sighing) - Look, if you want me to sit this one out, just say the word.
- [All] Word word word word word word word.
- Word.
- So that's a maybe?
(bright music) - [Narrator] Split has found some tracks.
Wasabi can almost taste his dinner.
(Wasabi slurping) The peas are alert to any sudden movements.
(bright music) - Okay, let's roll.
(Ginger grunts) Oofsies, sun was right in my eyes.
- [Narrator] Pea-Rexes can detect the tiniest of vibrations.
(Pea-Rex sniffs) (Pea-Rex moans) (Pea-Rex hums) - I can't see- - [All] Shh.
- Any- - [All] Shh.
- Thing.
- [All] Shh!
- [Narrator] (gasps) It's a Chillipede.
(Pea-Rexes gasp) (Pea-Rexes cheering) - Stop!
Don't eat that!
They're way too hot!
- [Narrator] But the baby Pea-Rexes have their tummy's set on this fast food.
(bright music) (Pea-Rexes panting) - Stop!
Don't!
(bright music continues) (bright music continues) (Pea-Rexes panting) (bright music continues) (Pea-Rexes hooting) - Whoa, huh?
(bright music continues) (Pea-Rexes panting) - [Narrator] The Pea-Rexes love spicy food and they're enjoying munching on these veggie snacks.
(Pea-Rex munching) - (laughs) My mistake.
I thought those things are like super duper- (steam hissing) Hot!
- [Narrator] Unfortunately, Tricarrotops have a very low spice tolerance.
Chillipedes emit a toxin that is 1,000 times hotter than the hottest chilli that exists today.
(Ginger screaming) (Bananaraptors laughing) - [Narrator] Bananaraptors don't like spice either.
(Ginger panting) (steam hissing) - Oh yeah, that's the good stuff.
- [Narrator] They prefer their food to be in big trouble.
(tense music) (Bananaraptors cackling) - Uh oh.
(Bananaraptors cackling) How are you guys doing?
(Bananaraptors cackling) (Pea-Rex whistles) - Yoohoo!
- Ah, good plan!
What do ya say we turn up the heat?
Catch me if you can!
(exciting music) (all panting) (panting continues) (Ginger laughs) (Bananaraptors moan) Let's load em' up, gang!
Fire when ready!
(Bananaraptors moaning) (tense music) (steam hissing) - [Narrator] The Bananaraptors will be okay, just a little bruised and battered for now.
(Ginger laughs) - Now that's teamwork.
(triumphant music) (all laughing) (gentle music) - [Narrator] Dominating the valley skies is the majestic Bokchoydactyl, whose epic four-meter wingspan makes them easy to spot from down below.
Up high in the Bok Rocks, you'll find the baby Bokchoydactyls, who are not natural-born flyers.
(Vegesaurs laughing) But these Vegesaurs do have an excellent sense of humour.
And a good burst of laughter can help activate their wing muscles.
(light music) - [Narrator] It's the late Crunchiest period, when the world was dominated by the juiciest and freshest creatures ever to rule the planet, the mighty "Vegesaurs"!
(gentle orchestral music) (exciting music) (Vegesaurs stomping) (bright music) - Whoa, they're so, so, big.
(Broccoliosaurus stomping) Whoa!
- [Narrator] Every day the Broccoliosaurus leave their habitat to drink from the lake.
(bright epic music) They're one of the largest Vegesaurs and are true gentle giants.
- Whoa.
(bright music) (Pea Rexes chattering) Wait, what are you doing?
Come back.
You'll be squashed!
(upbeat dramatic music) (Wasabi and Minty grunting) - [Narrator] Broccoliosaurus allow Pea Rexes to exfoliate their skin, removing all the yucky bits.
And in return.
(Pea Rexes giggling) (Pea Rexes munching) (Broccoliosaurus sighs) - Oh, I see.
You're giving them a trim.
Hey!
(broccoli bits splash) (Pea Rexes cheering) And gross.
(Wasabi and Minty laughing) (Split whimpers) Split, you don't wanna join in?
(Split murmurs) (Broccoliosaurus stomping) Oh, I'd be scared too.
Why don't you just hang here with me?
(Split jabbers) You are angry at yourself?
(Split groans) And frustrated?
(Split huffs) They're big feelings for a little pea.
I'm sure it's not that much fun.
(Wasabi and Minty cheering) (broccoli scrapes) (Wasabi and Minty thud) Okay, it's the most amazing fun I've ever seen.
(Broccoliosaurus bellows) Look, they're not even in any danger.
It's okay to feel scared, Split.
Everybody feels scared sometimes.
(Split sniffles) (bright music) Hmm.
Well, there's only one thing for it.
- [Narrator] Ginger is hoping to get Split comfortable with a much smaller Broccoliosaurus to start with.
(Ginger laughing) (bright music) - Hiya.
(baby Broccoliosaurus grunts) Catch me if you can.
(laughs) (baby Broccoliosaurus laughs) - [Narrator] The young Broccoliosaurus can't resist the opportunity to play.
(Ginger and baby Broccoliosaurus laughing) - Wait for me.
(bright music) Now that was fun.
I'm Ginger and I've got a friend who'd like to meet you.
(baby Broccoliosaurus grunts) (Split moans) (baby Broccoliosaurus grunts) (bright music) Wait, come back.
- [Narrator] Baby Broccoliosaurus can be timid and highly over reactive.
- See the baby brocc is a scared of you as you are of her.
(Split murmurs) (baby Broccoliosaurus grunting) Aw, you're both so sweet.
You wouldn't even hurt an Appleflyus.
(baby Broccoliosaurus whimpers) (Split sniffs) You can do it.
You're doing great.
(hesitant music) Yes!
Keep going.
(bright music) (both babbling) Woohoo!
Yeah, go, Split!
(Split cheers) (baby Broccoliosaurus laughs) (Split cheering) - [Narrator] It's the baby Broccoliosaurus' first hair cut.
(bright music) (Split cheers) It seems an understanding has been reached between the Broccoliosaurus and the baby Pea Rex.
(Pea Rexes chattering) A relationship that can benefit both of them.
(Pea Rexes cheering) (gentle orchestral music) (exciting music) - Let's sing a song together.
