I believe I was about... five, six.
I remember waking up early, my mom putting in ballies and barrettes in my head that was so tight.
My grandfather coming to get us because it was so far, my mom couldn't really drive.
When I got inside, running up to my dad and just smiling.
Him just asking, "What's your favorite color?"
And really just trying to get to know me.
But it's blurry.
I don't really remember a lot.
From that point, I didn't get a chance to see him until I was 19 and was able to drive myself.
