More than 50 people gathered at Newark Public Library to unveil the first installation of a traveling national Overdose Memorial. The digital display, which commemorates lives lost to overdose, will travel across the United States. Opening Aug. 31, Overdose Awareness Day, the memorial is on display in Newark for 10 days. More than 100,000 people die of drug overdoses in the U.S every year.
